A new year brings forth resolve to try new things and do family activities with more dedication. Injecting more fun in our lives should be also be a New Year’s resolution, don’t you agree? We enjoyed a great summer visit to the Sea to Sky Gondola after its official opening in May 2014, but wintertime brings an entirely new bevy of outdoor activities to get the family moving in the great outdoors. The snow has been flying of late, and I for one have been itching to get up there for the views, the hiking and some snowshoeing winter fun. Here’s how to enjoy the best winter fun on the Sea to Sky Gondola Squamish.

Some of these healthy winter activities include snowshoeing, winter walking along the Sea to Sky’s trail system, tubing, and ski touring for the more adventurous among us. Taking in the views of Howe Sound fjord, the snowcapped peaks of the Garibaldi range from the various viewing platforms and Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge also qualifies, I think.
